We also recognize the achievements of outstanding MSMEs through our prestigious Small Enterprise Business Awards (SEBA) and celebrate innovative startups with The AEONIAN, our annual Startup pitch and awards event. About KKEM
The Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission (KKEM) is a groundbreaking initiative by the Government of Kerala, aimed at transforming the state into a knowledge-driven economy. Our ambitious goal is to create 20 lakh jobs for educated candidates over the next five years. To achieve this, we have developed the Digital Work Force Management System (DWMS) with the support of the Digital University and various startups. DWMS is poised to become one of the largest public talent clouds in the world, revolutionising how we connect talent with opportunities. Through this mission, we aim to position Kerala as a leader in the global knowledge economy, fostering innovation, growth, and sustainable development.
Kerala SME Talent Quest
Kerala's talent pool is vast and varied, with Thiruvananthapuram leading the way in nurturing computer skills and Kerala ranking third overall among states for employability skills. This job fair is an initiative by the Higher Education Department of the Government of Kerala, focused on equipping youth with the industry-relevant skills needed to enhance their employability. Over the last decade, we have imparted skills to over 2.5 lakh higher secondary students, established community skill parks, and centres of excellence, recognized nationally for training in advanced technologies. According to a national survey, 64.2% of job aspirants in Kerala have excellent employability skills, making Kerala's youth highly sought after in the job market.
