We also recognize the achievements of outstanding MSMEs through our prestigious Small Enterprise Business Awards (SEBA) and celebrate innovative startups with The AEONIAN, our annual Startup pitch and awards event. Our mission is to support and elevate MSMEs, ensuring they have the resources and recognition they deserve.

About KKEM

The Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission (KKEM) is a groundbreaking initiative by the Government of Kerala, aimed at transforming the state into a knowledge-driven economy. Our ambitious goal is to create 20 lakh jobs for educated candidates over the next five years. To achieve this, we have developed the Digital Work Force Management System (DWMS) with the support of the Digital University and various startups. DWMS is poised to become one of the largest public talent clouds in the world, revolutionising how we connect talent with opportunities. Through this mission, we aim to position Kerala as a leader in the global knowledge economy, fostering innovation, growth, and sustainable development.

About K-DISC

The evolution of K-DISC could be traced to the Kerala State Innovation Council established by the National Innovation Council, following the announcement the Decade of Innovation by the President of India in January 2010 to foster a culture of Innovation and creativity across all sectors of the economy in the country. This declaration inturn inspired by the suggestions of the Knowledge Commission report prepared by the National Knowledge Commission in 2009.

Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council was originally constituted as a department guided by a six-member advisory council with Dr. K. M. Abraham, former Chief Secretary to Government of Kerala as the Chairperson. The Council consisted of six eminent persons of repute in Science, Innovation and Technology in order to equip K-DISC to carry out the newly assigned activities of the Knowledge Mission.*
